jobmedic.co.uk – How to create and attach an auto-response letter

We would like to let you know about an interesting feature that every jobmedic user can use to be in touch with the applicants. To do so you are able to create auto-response letters to save time.

To create an auto-response letter, please follow the below.

Please choose Account tools once you have logged into your Jobmedic account.

On Account Tools page, please select Letters and then Add New Letter.

You will redirect to a page where you can create your new letter. Please add a title and select what kind of letter you would like to use. You have the option to create a text-only letter or to have it branded. You have three options to add your brand: as a header image, footer image or both.

To select an image you can both select an already existing one from your media by clicking on “Select from My Media” or you can upload a new image by clicking “Upload a new image”. Please be advised that the maximum dimensions allowed are width 600px and height 800px.

About the body of the letter, you can either write your text in the form or copy/paste from a document. You can also personalize the letter by opening the Data Tags drop off menu and select a desired tag for your letter.

Once you have entered your desired text and added your images, you can preview your letter by clicking on “Preview As Auto Response” and Save it when you are happy with the result.

Once you saved the letter, you will redirect to “My Letters” page. In order to attach your letter to your job advertisements, you will need to click on the “0” below Jobs Attached.

You will be redirected to a new page with an overview of the jobs that are already attached to the letter, and a tab showing the jobs that are unattached to the letter. Check the box in front of the jobs you would like to attach to the letter and click on “Attach Jobs to this Letter”.

jobmedic.co.uk – CV search using criteria feature

We would like to let you know about our new CV search feature.

CV search using criteria filter

This filter allows you to search CV titles with exact keywords. For example, if you would like to find registered nurses and not see any other CV titles, this is a great filter to use. Please kindly note that this filter will exclude all the candidates with a different CV title out of your search result (some excluded candidates might still be qualified for the role).

Here is a guide how to use this filter:

  • Please open the criteria filter by clicking “0 criteria”

  • Next, add in the keyword wanted to see in the CV titles.
  • Finally click on “search”

jobmedic.co.uk – How to create a job template

We would like to let you know about an interesting feature that every jobmedic user can use to spare time during the job posting process.

To create a template, please follow the below

Please choose Jobs & Applications once you have logged into your Jobmedic account.

On Jobs & Applications page, please select My Templates.

On My Templates page, please click on Add Template.

You will redirect to a page that looks like the Job Posting one. However, you will find that there are less mandatory fields compared to the page you use to post jobs. You will find asterisks enlightening all the mandatory fields. Furthermore, you will also find the “Read Only” option: the “Read Only” option locks the field and deactivates any changes during the posting process.

Once you are happy with your template, save it by selecting Continue.

You will redirect to My Templates page. You will need to activate the template you just created to use it in your Job Posting. You can do it selecting Activate.

Now you are free to use the template you just created when you post a new job.

Follow us here on https://support.jobmedic.co.uk/ and the next month we will show you how to create an auto-response letter!

jobmedic.co.uk – What counts as a CV Database credit?

We would like to let you know about our latest changes on our website. We have changed our CV Database to accommodate your needs and part of that is how we count the credits used.

What counts as a CV Database credit?

  • Selecting multiple CVs on the search results page and forwarding those to selected email address.

When you choose multiple CVs at once and forward those (performing “bulk action”), this will count as credits. For example, if we choose three CVs and forward these, you would use three credits.

  • Downloading CVs on the main results page.

If the candidate has uploaded a CV for their profile, you are able to download that from the main results page by clicking the download icon. This action will use up one credit per CV.

  • Unlocking chosen CV.

This is our newest feature that will allow you to have a closer look into our candidates without using a credit. Only once you click “Unlock CV Info”, you will use up one credit. By doing this, you will be able to perform actions to this candidate and view their contact details for the next 24 hours without spending more credits.

  • Creating tags no longer uses a credit from you.

If you would like to save some candidates in the search results list for later, you can do so by selecting the wanted CVs and clicking “Tag Selected CV’s”. You may name this tags as wished and by pressing, ‘enter’ you have successfully created a tag. You will find these candidates later under the “Tags” section. Please note that this action will no longer use up any credits from you.

jobmedic.co.uk – How to unlock a CV!

We would like to let you know about our latest changes on our website. We have changed our CV Database to accommodate your needs and part of that is how we count the credits used.

Please be advised that we have changed the way we show the candidates on your CV search results. As from this month, you are able to look into the candidate profiles without using a credit. Only once the CV is “unlocked” you will spend a credit and see the following details:

– Candidate last name
– Candidate contact details
– Candidate full CV
– Action buttons

How to unlock a CV

Once you enter candidates’ profile, you will find only a small summary of their details:

To reveal candidates’ full information, you will need to unlock the CV:

Once unlocked, you will be able to download and forward the CV and contact the candidate.

Unlocking a CV will cost one credit and it will be unlocked for 24 hours.

Moreover, further actions for the unlocked CV will be free of charge for the next 24 hours.

If the same CV will be unlocked again after 24 hours, that action will cost another credit.

You will find more details about the cost of every action in the CV Database Search in the following post  “What counts as a CV Database credit?”

Boolean Searches for Health Care

Boolean 101. Here’s your quick guide to understanding the basics of Boolean.

AND SEARCHES

AND searches require that all of the terms you have listed are found in your results. AND narrows or decreases results.
The result would be everything in the green area: the solutions that contain both blue and yellow.
For example: design and html — The results would be everyone who had “design” as well as “html” listed somewhere in
their resume.

OR SEARCHES

OR searches require that your results contain any one of the terms being searched. The OR operator can be used to
broaden or increase your results.
In this case, the result would be everything in the blue, yellow, or green area: the solutions that are either blue or yellow!
For example: mechanic or diesel — The results would be everyone who had either “mechanic” or “diesel” listed
somewhere in their resume.

NOT SEARCHES

NOT (or AND NOT) Searches — NOT (or AND NOT) searches mean that a term or terms can be excluded from your results.
In this case, the result would be everything in the blue area only — nothing that contains any yellow!
For example: pharmaceutical and not sales
The results would be everyone who had “pharmaceutical” in their resume, but would automatically exclude everyone
who had “sales.”

Here are some examples to give you an idea of the Boolean search. You may amend and add filters relevant to your needs.

Medical Assistant
(“medical assistant”) (“medical equipment” OR “medical devices” OR “medical device” OR “med device” OR
“stryker” OR “abbott” OR “boston scientific” OR “depuy” OR “j&j” OR “kci”) (“medical instruments”) (“lab

Troubleshooting jobs

We make finding the perfect candidate easy, but sometimes you need a little extra help!

I posted my job on jobmedic, but I realized I need to edit the posting. How can I do this?

In the Jobs & Applications section of your jobmedic account, you can edit any part of your job posting by clicking on the job title from the Active tab.

Keep in mind, if you continue to edit your job posting’s title throughout the posting month, it will impact our ability to recommend this job to other qualified candidates.

I have found the perfect candidate for my open position, and I want to delete my job posting off jobmedic. How can I do this?

We recommend leaving your job posting active for the full month it is posted for (even if you’ve already found the perfect candidate) to accumulate as many resumes as possible. However, sometimes you just need to delete the posting. To do this, click the bin icon next the job listed within your Active tab.

It’s almost been a month and my job posting is about to expire on jobmedic, but I want to keep accepting candidates for the position. What do I do?

Use the Auto Renew feature to keep job postings active on the site for one additional month. Within the Active tab, click the job title, then click edit and then select Auto-Renew this Job Posting listed within Job Tracking section.

If you renew your job, it will count as a job posting credit for the additional month it is active.

I’ve found the perfect candidate for the position, and I know that I’ll probably need to fill this job again in the future. What can I do to make it easier next time?

Beyond creating a template of your job posting, you can also reactivate a job position. To reactivate a job, click the job title, then select New and then from the dropdown menu select copy to active. Templates can be created and modified under my templates section on the left hand sidebar.

Just a heads up – if you relist your job for another month, it will count as a job posting credit for the additional month it is active.
